Jared Roan joins SACS Administration as Secondary School
Principal ….bringing 14 years in education, his precious family, and a true
excitement for SACS to his new position.
“We are so pleased to be in San Antonio and at SACS,” he
said. “Everyone from students to faculty
to parents have been so welcoming and pleasant. I heard this was a campus
with a small town feel and we are finding that to be so true.”
Jared has a huge role overseeing both the high school and
the middle school, but has tackled it with confidence and enthusiasm. “Of course, time management will be my number
one challenge,” he said. “I plan to give all of my attention to every aspect of
both schools, so do not plan to see me in my office very often.”
He prefers parents who would like to discuss school related
issues or just come in to say hello to contact Karen McClemore (High School,
Extension 306) or Miriam Corbin (Middle School, Extension 206) and make an
appointment. Of course, emails are

When he is on campus at athletic events, he will be enjoying
our students’ talents alongside his family…his wife, Mylia; daughter Hadlee
(Fifth grade) and son Hudson (First grade).
“My number one goal this year is to learn as much as
possible about SACS and its culture, history, and families,” he said. “I will be watching, observing, and enjoying
our new home.”
