Dr. Danny Earl has served on the
Board for three years, with three alumni and two children currently attending;
Ethan, 16, and Lizzy, 14. He loves to do anything with his family, such as
hunting, fishing, or watching a football game. He works in his day-to-day job
as a veterinarian. Dr. Earl’s favorite part about sending his children to SACS
is, “…that the school reinforces my family’s spiritual foundation. Also, there
is a community-family environment of like-minded families and teachers that
really love the students and the school. This positive culture has really
helped our children reach their fullest potential mentally, spiritually,
physically and emotionally.” The hardest part about serving on the Board is
making a decision which may negatively impact a family, but be better for the rest
of school. The best part, says Dr. Earl, is being able to make a positive impact on the school. His favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:35-39, which says, “Who will separate us from the love of
Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness,
or peril, or sword? Just as it is written, ‘For Your sake we are
being put to death all day long;We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.’
But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For
I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor
depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love
of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
